Abstract

India publishes around 130 library and information sciencejournals. A methodology has been developed to identify the topjournals. The study identified the seven journals as India's leadingjournals. These include Annals of Library and InformationStudies, SRELS Journal of Information Management, DESIDOCJournal of Library & Information Technology, InformationStudies, COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and InformationManagement, IASLIC Bulletin and Library Herald.
