Two band model for the iron based superconductors
Two band model for Fe-As based oxygen containing superconductors is developed using the Green’s function technique and equation of motion method. Self-consistent equations for superconducting order parameters (p,d, specific heat (Ces) and density of states are derived. The theory is applied to explain the experimental results in oxygen containing Fe-As superconductors Sm0.95La0.05O0.85F0.85Fe0.15FeAs and SmO1-xFxFeAs. The comparison to experimental data is given where these are available. The agreement between theory and experiments is quite encouraging.
