Synthesis and spectral analysis of 5,7-dihydroxy-3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-6,8-dimethylchroman-4-one
Abstract
An efficient and concise synthetic route was designed based on 5,7-dihydroxy-3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-6,8-dimethylchroman-4-one, an important active ingredient extracted from PolygonatumOdoratum (Mill.) Druc. In this regard, spectroscopic techniques such as 1H and 13C NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) were also performed to confirm the final structure. Also, microinfrared spectroscopy and micro-Raman spectroscopy were performed to further determine the structure of the compound.
