Abstract

We reported an efficient route for the synthesis of pyrazole clubbed imidazolone compounds. The products were characterized by standard techniques like IR,1H and 13C NMR, and LC-MS. They were investigated for their antimicrobial activity against several strains of bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and S. pyogenes) and fungi
(C. albicans, A. niger,andA. clavatus) using broth dilution method. Compounds3j (-2-NO2),3r (-4-Br), and 3i (-2-OCH3) showed significant antimicrobial activity.
